I have solid experience in billing nursing homes and home health care as well as in patient and out patient hospital surgeries and ASC.
I have a proven track record of keeping your a/r in check as well keeping cash flow moving. I keep on top of changes in codes, LCDs, payment trends, etc. My track record for accounts receivable is about 3% which is considerably less than the accepted percentage of <15%.
One of the many things that sets me apart from my competitors is my track record of taking on insurance companies head on. A couple years ago, a number of my clients were assessed substantial over payments from a leading insurer. The overpayment requests totaled over 15k. I filed a complaint with CMS, provider relations, the Insurance Commissioner for both states, and finally a Congressional complaint. The entire over payment was canceled for all my providers. This is the length I go to for my providers as we all try to keep afloat in this difficult insurance environment. My feeling is, you as a practitioner provide the service to the patient, you deserve to get paid. Period. I am passionate about making sure that my clients get paid for their work and I do not allow insurance companies to push me around.
I started STAT Medical Billing Service when my husband, Joseph Greenberg, DPM let his biller go, about fifteen years ago.
